    Lunch and learn – Automotive / transport

    We are delighted to invite you to our ‘lunch and learn – Automotive and Transport’ event. Thornton Science Park is home to numerous companies and academics who operate in the automotive and transport sectors. This event will explore innovation and development within these sectors and highlight the work of academics and industry experts.

    Coffee and networking will be from 12pm, the session will start at 12.15pm prompt and close at 2.30pm. Key topics of discussion at the event will include:

    • Presentations about automotive projects and research carried out by the University of Chester’s Department of Mechanical Engineering
    • Presentation about the ERDF funded I2C: Innovation to Commercialisation Project and how this project can support businesses within these industries
    • A talk from Richard Farrow, Head of Performance, Strategy and Impact for Commercial Operations

    Delegates will also have the option to attend a tour of the mechanical engineering facilities after the event.
