New CEO for NAA
I am pleased to announce that from 3rd September NAA will have a new Chief Executive. Rowan Egan joins us for this full-time role. Previously Rowan was employed by Jaguar Land Rover in a Manufacturing Engineering Position. It has taken us a long time to find the right person to replace Carol, but we are confident that we have found someone with the right approach to meet our member needs and someone with energy & enthusiasm. It is a significant change from his previous roles, so will take him some time to understand all of the aspects of the business, but he is looking forward to meeting everyone and visiting your companies to develop his knowledge of the business. Come and meet him at our next networking meeting to R S Clare in Liverpool on Wednesday 19th September as there are still a handful of places available.

You will have to wait until the October newsletter to hear more about his plans for the future for NAA after our next Advisory Board Meeting!
Having stepped down from the role of Chief Executive, Carol will continue to work part-time for NAA focusing on her passion of new product development and launch (most of you know that she has been trying to get closer to retirement for a few years). Many of you will have benefitted from her knowledge in the area of technical bid-writing and supporting collaborative R&D partnerships and she will continue to lead this aspect of the business for us.

Just to update you, I should also comment that I have changed roles during the summer and am now the Plant Director for McLaren Composites Technology Centre, Sheffield. There is no impact on my NAA activities and you can still contact me directly on chair@northernautoalliance.com or 07810 758683.
