    Who should attend?

    The course is designed for learners to gain skills in Word; Excel; PowerPoint and Outlook.  You will learn how to work with long documents, create and manage worksheets and workbooks, create and format slides for presentations and work with e-mails, manage contacts and appointments effectively.

    The objectives?

    This one day instructor led course has been developed to assist NAA members gain a better understanding of the useful features of Microsoft Office.  Examples and exercises used on this course are based on the Automotive Industry.  At the end of the day, attendees will have a better understanding of how each application can be applied in their workplace.  We will also provide useful tips and shortcut features that should save attendees time and allow them to work more efficiently.

    Pre-Requisites

    We recommend that all those who attend are able to

    • Use a mouse to select and open menus and icons
    • Identify and use the Shift, Ctrl, TAB and Home keys on the keyboard

    Topics covered:

    • MS Excel – Learn how to use spreadsheets effectively and proficiently
    • MS Outlook – Keep track of important events, manage contacts and other tasks
    • MS Word – Learn how to use common features, manage documents and improve formatting
    • MS PowerPoint – Learn how to create and develop presentations and slideshows
    • Other Applications – MS Project and MS Access and their benefits/uses
