CCM Motorcycles was established in 1971 by its cofounder Alan Clews. The initial concept and core company business activity was to manufacturer motocross motorcycles within the UK. Throughout the years, CCM has produced all the components such as the frame, engine parts and suspension in house. In 1977, CCM achieved the Queens award for export.
Between 1979-1985, CCM acquired military contracts to supply motorcycles to governments throughout the world, as well as a healthy supply of civilian motorcycles to the UK and European markets.
Today, CCM continues to produce motorcycles and supply spare parts, for on and off road purposes, as well as supplying military contracts. We are about to commence production of our new limited addition range, starting with the Spitfire. The Spitfire sold out in less than a week of being launched at the MCN show in London February 2017. An excellent achievement for us and one which we hope will continue.
CCM Motorcycles are manufactured in a plant whose quality management system is certified and registered as conforming to the requirements defined in the ISO 9001 Standard.
Our philosophy ensures that we produce motorcycles to the best standard possible, through a series of build manuals and quality check procedures.
