Project Management Awareness

You need effective project management. This one-day awareness session provides an outline for project management good practice with special focus on the automotive industry.

Who Should Attend?

This is the perfect awareness session for managers, MD’s and those tasked with implementing projects.  It will also identify potential follow-on activities for both participants and other employees within their company from specialised new product introduction for automotive to accredited project management qualifications.  More importantly you will leave with several tools that will be useful immediately in your business.

Course Tutor

The course tutor is Carol Holden, NAA.  Carol has over 35 years’ experience in automotive new product development project management having been part of new project introduction teams as a Product Engineer, Chief Engineer and Project Manager of new global truck transmission developments.  Since being employed by NAA she has led our technical project management activities being the project manager on several Innovate UK projects, with excellent feedback from the other participants on her project management skills.

In addition, during her employment at Eaton she helped developed the Eaton New Product Introduction process, initially within the Truck Components division that was then rolled across the whole of Eaton Corporation and was an Eaton Certified Trainer in the process which had PMI (Project Management Institute) accreditation.

What do I take away with me?

An electronic course manual together with a certificate to confirm attendance for use in reporting CPD.

Location: The course will be held at Partnership for Learning, North Road, Speke, Liverpool L24 9PZ. The course will commence at 08:30 and conclude at 16:30. All refreshments and lunch are included.
