Turkey occupies a unique geographical position, lying partly in Asia and partly in Europe and remains one of the world’s biggest markets. Istanbul, home to around 15 million people, is the fascinating focus of Turkey’s trade with the world.

Turkey has harmonised many laws & regulations with EU Standards and is a country with huge potential. Many opportunities exist for British businesses in sectors including Aerospace, Automotive, Advanced Engineering and infrastructure.

This Trade mission will be led by Turkey market specialists and has been organised for NW companies to have access to meetings with potential Turkish business partners, in addition to briefings & seminars on doing business with Turkish companies. The activity programme in Turkey will be provided under the ERDF programme.

The mission is open to eligible North West based SMEs operating primarily in the above sectors trading for at least 12 months and eligibility criteria apply.

All businesses will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
