OVERVIEW
Join us at Pirelli Tyres in Carlisle for an in depth look into Manual Handling.
Pirelli Carlisle manufacture 10,000 Ultra High Performance tyres every day and employ over 900 people. They embarked on a journey to reduce manual handling 10 years ago and have achieved great results through implementing a number of initiatives. These initiatives can be replicated in many businesses and during the workshop, they will share the story of their journey.
There will be presentations from Pirelli, practical demonstrations of ‘military grade’ manual handing techniques and delegates will also have the opportunity to see how they have completely eliminated manual lifting in an entire department.
This is a rare opportunity to see how a business has reduced manual handling, combined with an opportunity to discuss your individual experiences and improvement opportunities in this area.
