Virtual Engineering Centre – UK launch of the new Risk-based Planning and Scheduling (RPS) simulation software, 18 September 2012, Daresbury

    Start date: 18/09/2012

In partnership with Simio LLC and SimX, the Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) invites you to the UK launch of the new Risk-based Planning and Scheduling (RPS) simulation software helping High-Value Manufacturers such as Automotive and Aerospace

Customers are demanding increased volumes and quality within shorter timescales, requiring suppliers to respond rapidly through improved manufacturing efficiency and planning.

Hot on the heels of the delivery of the first UK aircraft from the F-35 project is the UK preview of the new Risk-based Planning and Scheduling (RPS) simulation software developed following the 2010 ‘F-35 Technical Baseline Review’.

The first commercial-off-the-shelf simulation tool used for design and operations, RPS will improve production operations even in the most demanding applications.

RPS uses newly developed scheduling techniques from Simio LLC, a US simulation company and partners with Salford based specialists SimX, who are the Master Representative and support organisation in the UK.

Spend an invaluable half-day and discover how adoption of RPS can quickly provide realistic schedules, mitigate delivery schedule risks and provide optimum alternatives to meet customer commitments at reduced cost from existing production assets.
