Robotics Challenges and Solutions 14 April 2016, Warrington
Start date: 14/04/2016
Cost: Free:- Please register via link
The Northern Robotics Network – NRN – will be announcing its first industrial cluster programme in the North West. The NRN is aiming to form unique clusters to develop robotic programmes and we want to make sure we deliver on the promises made in the NRN Strategy.
Innovus, in collaboration with The Northern Robotics Network and EPSRC, will be hosting this Robotics Challenges and Solutions event – an opportunity to find out more about the industry challenges, how robotics can form part of the solution, and to connect with potential collaborators from industry, academia and SMEs.
What is the opportunity?
The purpose of this event will be for representatives from several industries, including nuclear, Oil & Gas and Rail to initially describe some of the challenges that they have in their industry and to then explain the specific scenarios within which they require innovative robotic solutions.
Presentations and exhibits will be provided by academics and SMEs to illustrate the latest robotic solutions that are being developed for industrial application and representatives from EPSRC, Innovate UK and Innovus will provide details of support they can offer to support the development of robotic solutions.
Who should attend?
This event is free to attend and will be open to any organisation or individual with an interest in robotics and solving industry challenges whether from academia, industry, small and medium sized businesses, national laboratories or other research institutions.
The event is free to attend. Please register here http://www.innovus.org.uk/BookingRetrieve.aspx?ID=31637
