    Apprenticeship Levy Explained

    From May 2017, large businesses will contribute to an Apprenticeship Levy that will change the way training and apprenticeships are funded throughout the UK.

    The Apprenticeship Levy will drive engagement by larger employers in high quality Apprenticeships. In broad terms the levy will be paid by employers with around 150 employees.

    Apprenticeship Levy events, in partnership with the Lancashire WBL Executive Forum, the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership and The Lancashire Colleges, will advise businesses what it means for them.

    The events will provide a full update on the key facts about the levy and will give employers the chance to ask questions from a panel of experts.

    There’s no selling, just free guidance and the chance to get your questions answered.

    The first event on 5 October at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel includes key speaker Paula Gibson, Business Solutions Manager (Apprenticeships), City & Guilds who will cover the key facts on the Apprenticeship Levy.
