    Start date: 14/11/2013

AutoLink Wales 2013 is a cross-sector technology showcase and conference designed to facilitate collaboration in the industry

The development of new products and technologies continues to drive the automotive industry.

The ever-shifting nature of the global market is complex and unpredictable, with fierce competition around every corner, but the trends to achieve zero emission vehicles, the use of lightweight materials and the increase of electronics and software technologies are the key drivers.

The Technology Exhibition will illustrate how technology transfer can be mutually beneficial for automotive companies, deriving benefit from seeing technologies not only from automotive suppliers but also from the Aerospace, Electronics and Software sectors as well as Academia and Motorsport.

The Conference, chaired by Professor Garel Rhys CBE, will inform and update delegates on the progress of the Automotive Council’s work on Technology and Supply Chain with presentations from Jerry Hardcastle OBE, Global Chief Marketability Engineer & Technical Director for Global Motorsports, Nissan Motor Company and David Allen, Purchasing Director at Jaguar Land Rover, with additional speakers to be confirmed.
