    Directors in the Dock

    Start date: 26/04/2012
    Cost: Free

To be held at Slater Heelis, Sale, Manchester

We will be running a free seminar, in conjunction with Slater Heelis and Safety2 Business at the offices of Slater Heelis, Sale on Thursday 26th April; with registration at 1pm for a 1.30pm start.

This seminar is applicable for all automotive companies located in the NW region who want to understand their duties and how to maximise value from achieving best practice – it doesn’t always have to be doom and gloom.

Practically, legislation will be covered with respect to accidents at work and corporate and gross negligence manslaughter, which is an area of concern for all Directors.

Sessions will also be held on directors’ legal duties and evidence of compliance, together with achieving best practice and understanding the true value of health and safety.
    Speakers:

Slater Heelis is a well respected and long established full service law firm based in South Manchester. A client-focused firm, who offer in-depth legal expertise to commercial and private clients across the fields of property, corporate and commercial, intellectual property and media, litigation, employment, family, conveyancing and wills and trusts.
Safety2Business is a well established risk management consultancy with a nationwide coverage and a “can do” approach. They provide a wide range of positive risk management solutions that benefit businesses, protect their assets, help them to reduce accident rates and ensure they are compliant with increasingly complex legislation.
After the speakers there will be a Q&A panel and an opportunity to book a free health and safety / legal advice clinic slot with Slater Heelis and/or Safety2Business respectively.
