    The German Market
    The UK export industry to Germany is worth around €40billion a year, more than double that to Brazil, China, India and Russia put together.

    Germany is the largest economy in Europe with a population of 82million well used to buying British.

    It also hosts a third of the world’s Trade Fairs.

    Some examples of the UK sectors already exporting to Germany include:-

    • Creative and Digital (including music, fashion, games, IT)

    Daniel Rutstein – Head of UKTI Germany
    Daniel Rutstein, head of the UKTI in Germany, will provide an invaluable insight into how you could increase sales by expanding into this important market right on your doorstep.

    Daniel will speak for around 40 minutes and a Q&A session will be held at the end.  The networking session afterwards will give you the opportunity for a one-on-one chat with Daniel and other representatives from UKTI.

    The Event
    The event is for businesses new to export or for those already exporting.  Even if you are already exporting to Germany – there may well be information on how you can increase your sales and find new opportunities within the marketplace.

    We are delighted to have secured one of Liverpool’s most exciting new venues, Oh Me Oh My in West Africa House on Water Street, Liverpool.  The event will include breakfast and German style ‘Kaffee und Kuchen’ (coffee and cake) for the networking session afterwards.

    This event will complement other events, briefings and activities which are being run as part of the International Festival for Business held in Liverpool throughout June and July.
