    Following the successful Driving Technological Change Conference held at Silverstone Circuit last year, the partners (see full list below) are pleased to announce this one day event will be taking place again this year, on 1 July 2015, during the week of the British Grand Prix, and will focus on the Transferability of Technologies between Motorsport, Automotive and beyond.

    Key technology themes of this event will include:

    • Vehicle Electrification: exploring advances within energy capture and storage including developing battery technology
    • Advanced Engine Technology: Focussing on new powertrain technology, engine light-weighting and the evolution of engine downsizing
    • Intelligent Mobility: looking at how motorsport technology is informing developments within intelligent transport networks and autonomous vehicles
    • Light Weighting: exploring the application of smart components and materials including structural integrity
