The trends of population growth and increasing urbanisation present increasing mobility challenges that include congestion and emissions, at a time where we are increasingly connected and seeing the emergence of vehicle-based technologies that are enabling increasing automation and the emergence of alternative mobility solutions that may influence vehicle design. In Geoff’s talk he looks to identify the trends and speculate on some of the engineering challenges.
