    Innovate UK/KTN Ltd, Low emission freight & logistics £19m competition briefing

    Innovate UK are to hold an event focused on dissemination of learning and future plans for low emission freight. £19M second wave funding

    The afternoon will be the official briefing of the recently announced OLEV funding competition featuring details of the competition scope and application process from Innovate UK. You can read more on this here.

    The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), funded the first Low Carbon Truck Demonstration project which started in 2013 and was led by Department for Transport (DfT), Freight team. The results and observations are now available to share with the wider transport community.  Innovate UK invite you to join them on the 14 July in Birmingham to see presentations from project leaders and observers – Cenex and LowCVP.

    The day will see an informed agenda which will disseminate project outcomes as well as analysis of fleet data, and also related studies funded by DfT Freight targeting a better understanding of carbon reductions from various technologies.

    Delegates will also hear from Innovate UK on their plans to advance the demonstration of Low Carbon Vehicles in the coming months and years, and the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI), on their HDV System Integration Efficiency Programme.

    Partnering: We will be making a one-to-one meeting facility available to delegates. Meeting Mojo enables you to book meetings with each other online, ahead of the event. This facility will open 2 weeks prior to the event and registered attendees will receive login details. You can then search or browse company/delegate listings, and request one-to-one meetings with other delegates which will take place at the event.
