The UKTI Lisbon team is organising a mission to Portugal focusing on the Automotive and Aerospace sectors (details below) and is now in the process of signing up companies to integrate the UK delegation.
Supply Chain Opportunities in the Automotive and Aerospace Sectors: UK and Portugal
Oporto, Lisbon – 28th and 29th May 2014
This event will be organised together with AFIA (Portuguese Association of Suppliers to the Automotive Industry) and PEMAS (Portuguese Aerospace Industry Association), focusing on the Automotive and Aerospace sectors, the synergies between both areas within Advanced Engineering and the main opportunities for partnering presented by the industry for Portugal and the UK.
28 May – We will host a conference in Oporto which will present an excellent networking opportunity and will be followed by a bilateral meetings session between British delegates and Portuguese potential partners. In the afternoon delegates will have the option of a site visit to one of the Portuguese manufacturers in the automotive industry, arranged in cooperation with AFIA.
29 May – The British companies joining the mission will also have the opportunity to participate in site visits to Caetano Aeronautic and EMBRAER Portugal (tbc), arranged in cooperation with PEMAS.
This will be an excellent opportunity for UK companies to meet potential partners and customers either by making new contacts or by re-connecting with previously established ones. Our team can assist you in making the most of this networking opportunity with a targeted approach to the potential partners for the one-to-one meetings.
