My Electric Avenue: Turning the Corner, 3 December 2015, IMechE, London
Start date: 03/12/2015
Cost: Please register, Contact Gill Nowell
NAA member EA Technology is running an event to present the findings from My Electric Avenue, a pioneering Ofgem-funded project, which has been examining the impact of electric vehicles (EVs) on the local electricity network as sales of EVs continue to rise. The project has been addressing two key, previously unanswered questions: Can local electricity networks cope when large numbers of EVs are charged at peak times? And if not, what can we do about it?
My Electric Avenue’s ‘Turning the Corner’ final dissemination event, in partnership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, is an opportunity to share learning and results with stakeholders from across Government, the utilities and automotive sectors. Details will also be revealed of a Legacy Initiative that will provide the platform for collaboration between the automotive and utilities sectors.
