The Niche Vehicle Network will continue to invest in R&D projects focused on niche and specialist vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and technology organisations who wish to collaborate on innovative, industry-led projects focusing on developing and demonstrating vehicle or system level road-vehicle technology in the following categories:
- Improved Fuel Efficiency & Carbon Reduction
- Weight Reduction & Recyclability
Held at the Morgan Motor Company in Malvern on the 28th of April, the full day Competition Briefing and Consortium Building event will provide delegates with an overview of the 2015 Niche Vehicle competition, including the competition scope, the level of grant funding available and application timelines.
In addition the Network is providing interested delegates with the opportunity to give a short 5 minute presentation covering your company’s experience and capabilities and/or highlighting a research project for which you would like to secure partners. If you would like to apply for one of the 5 minute presentation slots, please detail your proposed presentation topic within your return email. The deadline for applications for a presentation slot and presentations in PowerPoint format is the 20th April. Presentation slots will be released on a ‘first come first served basis’.
For those companies interested in building a project consortium this event will provide you with the opportunity to discuss your research project idea with interested delegates, through a facilitated consortium building activity.
