Average take-up rate in UK is 6%. Are you one of the 94% in the UK? Are you eligible? – Probably. Is it worth it? – Definitely…

    Tuesday 10th July 2012

    09:00 – 12:00

To be held at Partnership for Learning, Halewood

R&D Tax Credits are an excellent source of funding for all sizes of businesses, (not just SMEs) but here in the UK many go unclaimed and you don’t need to have massive R&D activities to be eligible for a claim.

At first sight, many companies do not believe they can make a claim because they think the scheme is predominately aimed at companies involved with research and development. This is a misnomer as the scheme is intended to support companies who are developing new services, new products or implementing processes within the business to make it more efficient.

This is our third R&D Tax Credits Seminar and due to demand, we have again secured the services of MPA Accountants & Tax Advisors to run an informal workshop at PfL, South Road, Halewood, Liverpool L24 9PZ on Tuesday 10th July 2012; with registration at 9.00am for a 9.30am start. Our workshops in October 2011 and January 2012 were very well received and the majority of companies who thought that they weren’t eligible for claiming have indeed started the claims process.

During the workshop MPA will cover the following:

    • An introduction to the R&D Tax Credits Scheme

    • The eligibility criteria

    • The claim process

    • The benefits of using an R&D Tax Credit Specialist

This workshop will take approximately an hour and a half and following the session they will be available to meet one-on-one to discuss:

    • How much your claim is likely to be?

    • Can you improve on claims you have already made?

Or, if you would prefer, they can visit you at your organisation for a confidential chat to discuss your potential claim.

The workshop is free to attend, however delegate places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

The timing for the meeting will be:

    09:00 – 09:30      Arrival & registration

    09:30 – 11:00      Seminar covering:

    • Introduction to the R&D Tax Credits Scheme
    • The eligibility criteria
    • The Claim process
    • The benefits of using an R&D tax credit specialist

11:00 – 12:00      Opportunity for 1-1 meetings or booking of visits
