    SMMT Open Forum at Automechanika Birmingham NEC on 7-9 June 2016

    The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders’ (SMMT) is bringing their Open Forum event to Automechanika Birmingham at the NEC Birmingham on 7-9 June 2016, the UK’s first trade show bringing over 10,000 visitors dedicated to automotive supply chain and aftermarket companies.

    The Open Forum, event will take place on day one of the show (7 June) and with leading colleagues from Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd., GKN Plc. and Jaguar Land Rover already confirmed to speak, this industry-led event is shaping up to be a must attend for those interested in understanding the latest issues and opportunities and for a chance to network with a comprehensive section of the UK’s supply chain. Also confirmed for this year’s event is a thought-provoking panel discussion led by executives from UK based OEM’s and tier 1 suppliers focusing on a wide range of topics including:

    • the UK’s supply base, its capabilities and its relationship with the global market;
    • market trends and drivers for new business opportunities;
    • purchasing decisions, processes and factors affecting them.
