Virtual Employer Workshop – Future Skills Foresighting – Industrial Digitalisation

The High Value Manufacturing Catapult, working with the Gatsby Foundation, has through a series of country visits in 2018/19 collected best practise from around the world to propose a process for foresighting future skills. Across 2 workshops in April, employers are being asked to validate what an organisation needs to do (i.e. organisational capabilities) to implement a digitalisation strategy at the organisation level; at the department or functional level and at the individual level.

The purpose of these 2 workshops are:

• To validate the organisational capabilities needed to implement the digital strategy
• To prioritise the organisational capabilities
• To agree the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the prioritised organisational capabilities
• To aggregate the KSB’s into potential job roles
• Estimate number of job roles

The first virtual workshop will be held at 10am – 11am on Wednesday 8th April

The second virtual workshop will be held at 10am – 11am on Wednesday 15th April
