    Objectives and benefits

    Through Industry Forum’s unique heritage and links with Japanese Industries, this programme offers unprecedented access to senior management and the shop floor of recognised world leading companies. The programme stimulates ideas and enthusiasm which guided by Industry Forum personnel and subject matter experts gives delegates the vision to achieve measurable improvement in their own organisations.

    Background

    Japanese industry is globally recognised as being the world leader in its approach to continuous improvement, focused on improving Quality, Cost and Delivery Performance, utilising Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.

    Industry Forum has had a long association with Japanese Industry and was the first organisation to be appointed the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) as an assessment agency for the prestigious TPM award process.

    Now in its seventh year, this best practice programme offers a unique opportunity for delegates to experience first-hand TPM deployment and innovative improvement techniques, to help their own organisations move toward the goal of zero accidents, zero breakdown and zero defects.

    Programme Overview

    Prior to the programme delegates will be given pre-diagnostic tools to help evaluate strengths and weaknesses in their own organisations and to set objective for areas to improve.

    The programme will be led by experienced Industry Forum subject matter experts.

    The programme will include lectures from leading experts in Lean Manufacturing and TPM, and visits to seven world leading organisations in the manufacturing and process industries. Each visit will have a specific theme, which will include TPM pillar deployment, application of the Toyota production system, and improvement using small group activities.

    Structured opportunity for discussion, questions and best practice sharing will be organised throughout the programme.

    Places are strictly limited to 20 delegates and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

    There is a 10% discount for NAA-referred companies until the end of March.
