    Who should attend?:

    The course is designed for more experienced users of Microsoft Excel; Word and PowerPoint and builds on the basics covered on the 1 Day MS Office Overview Course.

    The objectives?

    This one day instructor led course has been developed to assist NAA members develop more advanced practical skills using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Examples and exercises used on this course are based on the Automotive Industry.  You will learn how to manage and analyse worksheets using pivot tables and creating charts, work confidently with long documents in Word and to create custom slideshows with consistent formatting and animation in PowerPoint.

    Pre-Requisites

    • This course is for those who have either attended the 1 Day MS Overview Course or who have equivalent knowledge
    • Delegates should be able to create formulas in MS Excel and use basic functions
    • Delegates should be aware of the basics of MS Word and MS PowerPoint

    Topics covered:

    • MS Excel – Learn how to use spreadsheets effectively and proficiently using advanced formulas, fixing columns, rows and filtering options; analysing data with charts, pivot tables and solutions to “what if” scenarios
    • MS Word – Learn how to improve formatting in larger documents by using headers and footers, section breaks, macros and custom styles
    • MS PowerPoint – Learn how to create and develop custom slideshows, applying consistent formatting and animation
