Who should attend?
Existing Auditors looking to upgrade their current ISO/TS 16949:2009 Auditor certificate.
Entry Requirement
Delegates will be asked to provide a copy of their current ISO/TS 16949: 2009 Auditor certificate as part of the application process.
What are the objectives?
Delegates will understand the high level structure of the new standard and its application across other management system standards (Annex SL).
Delegates will understand how to audit the new requirements of the standard within their organisations.
Delegates will understand how risk management is incorporated into the new standard and how this risk based approach should be applied to auditing.

- Rationale behind changes to the standard
- Details of changes within the standard in relation to auditing
- Alignment to the ISO 9001 requirements
- Risk based thinking
- Consolidation, exchange of experiences and group exercises
Course Delivery
This participative course is delivered by Industry Forum and is made up of a number of modules supported by group exercises and open discussion. Delegates are evaluated through a proctored exam at the end of the course.
The practical emphasis of this course and high tutor to delegate ratio provides a great opportunity for individual guidance, support and learning.
What certificate do I receive?
Delegates passing the knowledge exam will receive a new IATF 16949: 2016 Auditor Certificate underwritten by the UK IATF Oversight Office.

Members of NAA – £575 + vat/delegate
Non-Members – £750 +vat/delegate
Delegates will receive a copy of the new IATF 16949:2016 standard.
