Ben Holloway
Board Member DAF Trucks
Ben worked at Leyland Trucks for the past 12 years in roles across; Systems Development, Software Test and Integration, High Voltage Systems and Vehicle Assembly Operations. In his current role he is responsible for all Medium Duty Truck Development for DAF trucks.
Leyland Trucks has a long history of Engineering and Development in the North West dating back to 1896. The current production facility opened in 1980 and produced up to 20,000 vehicles annually both for the UK and more than 50 territories worldwide. DAF have achieved 29 years as market leader in the UK truck market as of 2023 and those vehicles are designed and produced in the North West of England.
Prior to joining Leyland Ben has worked in the Defence Aerospace sector with BAE Systems and Thales as well as running his own consultancy. He is a Graduate of Liverpool John Moores and the University of Central Lancashire.
