Autac Products Limited are a manufacturer of quality electrical spiral cables. The family business has been in existence for 50 years, and manufacture all their own cable and spiral coils at their factory in Macclesfield, Cheshire. These spiral cables are also known as retractable cables, coiled cables.
As well as supplying spiral cables to the automotive industry, for connecting commercial vehicles to trailers, and for cars to trailers or caravans, these spiral cables are used throughout different industries. Current markets include automotive, oil and gas, medical, electronic, industrial and lighting.
The cables supplied within the automotive market include standard 7 core cables to ISO 1185 and ISO 3731, to the EBS and ABS cables to ISO 7638, and the modern 15 core cables to ISO 12098.
Spiral cables are manufactured from a variety of materials, using different wire sizes ranging from 0.09mm2 for electronic uses to 35mm2 used within battery charging and military vehicles.
All product is manufactured within strict ISO 9001 quality systems, and all cables are 100% electronically tested before despatch.
