Senseye gave a brief overview of the challenges that many automotive companies are currently facing, before explaining how Industry 4.0 can be harnessed to increase reliability and productivity. Figures showed that the automotive sector has one of the highest adoption rates of Industry 4.0 technologies, yet often many companies do not see any tangible results.
Senseye then provided an example of how one of its automotive customers, Nissan, had successfully reduced unplanned downtime, saving multiple millions of pounds across each of its sites by implementing its Predictive Maintenance software, Senseye PdM.
Senseye wrapped up the session by announcing ROI Lock™, it’s downtime reduction guarantee designed to significantly reduce the perceived risk of investing in Predictive Maintenance solutions by promising to reimburse customers with the subscription costs for its Senseye PdM software if the agreed downtime reductions fail to materialise.
