NAA Member News: Plus Point Technical Services achieves CPD accredited training centre status
Automotive quality control supplier Plus Point has achieved Continuous Professional Development accreditation. The Cheshire-based company was assessed by CPD certification service in March and passed to become a recognised training centre…
The certification recognises that Plus Point provides training in line with CPD guidelines and for trainees to earn professional development points. The company will now be able to deliver bespoke automotive training.
Speaking about the recognition, Plus Point MD Mark Sweeney said: “For a long time we have provided outstanding training to our staff. The training has been critical to the jobs that they carry out with the manufacturing supply chain. It’s therefore very pleasing that our training has been recognised by an accredited body.”
Plus Point Technical Services provides quality control staff to the automotive manufacturing supply chain. It supplies all staff with training to ensure that they are able to work efficiently within a fast-paced industry.
The accreditation comes at the time of particular growth for the automotive industry which last year saw 17.2m cars roll off the production line. Plus Point’s staff operate within the quality control element of the supply chain, ensuring that parts are correct and suitable for the cars in production.
Mark continued “It’s very important that we are able to provide high quality training because we play an important part in ensuring the supply chain runs smoothly. People working with and for Plus Point will benefit from this accreditation”
