As part of its continued growth strategy, mi Technology Group (miT) is now focused on a recruitment drive to increase its existing staff by more than 10%, with specific requirements for Technicians, Graduate Engineers and Engineers.
miT is an independent provider of high quality testing, engineering and contract manufacturing services to leading companies around the world, across a wide range of transport and energy sectors. Perhaps best known for its commercial vehicle heritage, the business has developed rapidly in recent years and passenger car activities now account for more than 50% of annual turnover.
miT tests for many of Europe’s leading automotive OEMs and has experience of development across all areas of the vehicle including driveline, chassis, body and interior systems. Active areas of development include lightweight structures, electric driveline (including hybrid drive) and advanced IC engine technology. miT has significant experience of working alongside industry experts to deliver collaborative R&D programmes, including the TSB funded “Car for Young Drivers” where miT is taking a leading role in developing an advanced, lightweight but safe vehicle designed to match the experience of recently qualified drivers.
With extensive engine test cells, structural durability and materials testing laboratories and test rigs for testing a wide variety of internal and external vehicle components, miT has amongst the most comprehensive vehicle test capabilities in Europe.
