There’s no shortage of interesting headlines to pull out of Anita Zarska’s ‘In the Driving Seat’ article: kayaking, Scottish ridge walks and metal detecting, to name just a few…

Company Name
Kattrapin Technologies
What does your company do?
We support bespoke technical animation, documentation, and software solutions. We have gathered recent interest in niche technical animation for aftermarket storytelling as well as software solutions to enhance current platforms and make better use of existing data and systems.
Position
Business Development and Strategy
Apart from that
We are also a member of the North East Automotive Alliance and the University of Manchester’s SISTER innovation hub. On a personal note, I am and have been a member of the Scouting Association for three years helping young people develop skills for life and the outdoors.
Why did you join the NAA?
I believe that the greatest impact you can have is a direct result of the
ecosystems you weave. The NAA offered an opportunity to learn from industry leaders, gather a niche in the automotive and manufacturing space, and provide opportunities to dive deeper into various companies. We hope to give as much back.
Personal
• Kayaking – My husband and I are sea kayakers who very recently dared our way down the Menai Strait and are looking for further adventures around the Scottish Isles if anyone has a recommendation!
• Scotland ridge walks – My favourite place in the world runs in parallel with my favourite hike landscapes.
• Mixed media artist – I use nature and various art media to create stories that explore psychological themes.
• Metal detecting – It’s the thrill of the chase. I can spend hours combing shorelines in the hopes of finding a doubloon (a Spanish gold coin) (which I have yet to find!)
• Supporting young people – As a former educator, the passion to support the next generation never leaves you. So while I have left the classroom, my belief in the power of nurturing next level talent remains strong, and I work every week with young people.
