I was NAA board member for Bentley back in 2009/10. There is association between NAA and SMMT – we have a common agenda to develop the UK automotive sector, especially supply chain capabilities, as well as facilitate inward investment and stimulate innovation across the sector.
Personal
I’m married with four children, and live in Cheshire with a weekly commute to London. I enjoy watching almost any sport (rugby, football and cricket, in particular) – as well as playing golf and skiing. I also have interests in military history and travelling.

Best motoring moment
I spent six months driving a Volkswagen Kombi van across Europe on a gap year. We covered 12,000 miles, with no pre-planned itinerary and only two flat tyres (unfortunately simultaneously).
