On 27th August, NAA Member, SamsonVT (a specialist software technology company based in Manchester) hosted a webinar on “Unlocking the Value of Your Automotive Data”…
Leading the webinar was SamsonVT’s Lead Data Scientist Xavier Roy, who holds a Degree in Physics, a Masters in Cosmology and a PhD in Theoretical Physics; focusing on mathematical modelling & algorithms developed to better understand the equations of general relativity. Supporting was Data Scientist, James Rynn, holding a 1st class degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Efficient Uncertainty Quantification within Applied Maths & Statistics.
Xavier and James took us through the wider concepts of Machine Learning and the Data Journey from ingestion to production, focusing on several case studies and real-life applications such as the use of Qapter and the Valuation of Used Vehicles.
