Team Dynamics has been printing a number of parts for its Honda Type R BTCC car and has recouped the cost of its printer within the first year of printing. Air intakes, bonnet louvers, break duct blanks, supports, turning vanes are just some of the many parts that have been manufactured, used, or sold on to competitors. 3D Printing has allowed Team Dynamics to not just enhance its own production and reduce costs, but also to diversify its business model and generate new revenue streams.
