NAA Member News: FDM Digital Solutions installs new large format hybrid manufacturing technology
NAA member FDM Digital Solutions has been providing 3D printed components and assemblies, as well as jigs and tooling, to the automotive industry for over 13 years. The company has recently installed a new, large format hybrid manufacturing technology at its Burnley facility.
The CMS Kreator is a unique hybrid machine that combines the power of 3D printing with the precision of milling to deliver unprecedented production results. With a build envelope of 4 metres x 2 metres x 1.2 metres and running a broad range of high-performance materials such as carbon filled nylon, PEI, PETG, etc. this machine is ideal for building large moulds, tooling, and components.
