Mini Gears Group has a lot to be proud of this year as it cuts the cake (made in-house!) to mark 50 years of manufacturing excellence, followed by achieving certification for the AS9100C quality management system for the aerospace industry, for the manufacture and supply of all types of precision gears and machined parts…
Attaining this quality management standard was the way forward as Mini Gears’ business had significantly increased in the Aircraft Seating market and the entire workforce worked extremely hard to upgrade systems, processes and documentation to meet the stringent requirements of AS9100C. The company has also strengthened the engineering team over the last two years and has recently appointed David Jobe, skilled in lean manufacturing techniques, as Production Director.
Now having over 100 machines at its large 35,000 sq. ft. sub-contract manufacturing facility in Stockport, Mini Gears Group supplies to a wide range of industries including Aircraft Seating, Power Transmission, Oil, Gas & Petrochemical, Stairlifts & Medical, Autosport and Nuclear.
