NAA Member News: Sigmatex – Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team announces steps towards sustainable carbon fibre composites for 2025 Formula 1 season
At Sigmatex we are very proud of our long-term association with Formula 1. As early adopters of carbon fibre, the motorsport industry has been at the cutting edge of material innovation for many decades.
This season will be the first time in which innovative sustainable carbon fibre composites will be used in Formula 1 on the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team W16, made possible through close partnership between the team and INEOS Nitriles, and collaboration with Toray, Syensqo and Sigmatex.
