NAA Update: Be a sponsor for the NAA Annual Dinner; exhibit at the Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle Show; become a member of the NAA
Raise your profile within the region’s automotive industry by becoming a sponsor for the NAA Annual Dinner, and also by becoming a full member of the NAA. There’s also the opportunity to exhibit at the UK’s leading Low Carbon Vehicle event.
The theme of this month’s newsletter is education and industry, to accompany the launch of our latest leaflet from our Autohub project – you can read more about this in Susan’s article. To accompany this you will also find an article on the Engineering Education Scheme, where I was an assessor this month. EES desperately needs more companies involved, if you want to find out more, please speak to me.
It has been a busy few months for us at NAA with the starting and finishing of projects, but we are getting back into a normal routine, one of those being the preparations for the Annual Dinner. We are looking for the 2013 dinner to be “bigger & better” than last year’s event! The room is booked, all we need now is for you to buy the tickets, tables and, most importantly, we need sponsors. We are looking to hold a similar number of awards as last year, and the invite to apply for the awards will go out in the next couple of months; but without sponsors it won’t happen! Please take a look at the Annual Dinner article in the newsletter and contact Zoe with your sponsorship offers, we already have two sponsors identified, so don’t be left out, get in quick…
We have reserved space at the 2013 CENEX Low Carbon Vehicle Show, if you would like to be part of the NAA delegation, then please contact me before 30 June, by having several companies on the stand we can significantly reduce the cost for you, yet you can still be present and take advantage of all the excellent networking that this show offers; it is a must for anyone who works in the low carbon vehicle community. However, you all may be interested in the LowCVP and EU2025 articles as this is an insight of what is to come in legislation, and as a consequence new vehicles, new products, and a busy time for all.
Finally I would like to remind you that this newsletter, our events and the support that we give companies can only happen if we have membership income, therefore if you are reading this and are not a member then here is the link to our Become a Member Leaflet and I would ask you to take a read, complete it and return it to Zoe. Without a healthy number of paid numbers we will not be able to continue; I will be returning to the subject again next month…
