NAA Update: Thank you for your support of the Annual Awards Dinner

Our Annual Awards Dinner was a huge success, with more than 260 people attending this year, compared to just over 100 in 2012, and only 50 the previous year. Congratulations to our award winners and well done to all the companies that submitted award applications. And of course a very big thank you to our sponsors. You can now view photographs from the event

I have been overwhelmed by the number of emails I have received complementing us on the Annual Dinner; in case I have missed responding to anyone, thank you very much for your kind words. We are really pleased that you all enjoyed the event and we are currently in the after-event assessment of “what went right and what went wrong” to ensure that next year’s is bigger and better! You can read all about the award winners in the separate article below, and you can view and download the official photographs from the evening at this link:

Our next challenge is to commence the preparations for both the CENEX LCV event, 10-11 September 2014, and also our activity at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, 13-15 June 2014. As a reminder for anyone who missed the presentation at the Annual Dinner, at Cholmondeley we will be holding a Business Excellence Networking meeting on Friday 13 June with various opportunities to drive vehicles on the circuit during the day and we will also be able to offer reduced rate packages for both entry and hospitality. More details will be communicated in forthcoming newsletters, but make sure you enter both dates in your diary now! Cholmondeley is an excellent opportunity for business networking; either through the NAA or for your own companies, so make sure you think and plan now.

Closer in time is our Business Excellence Meeting on 5 December at Scorpion Automotive in Chorley – please join us for what should be an interesting afternoon, both in the tour of the facility and also the four speakers that we have for you afterwards at David Lloyd Chorley.

We are also getting ready for our Cumbria expedition where, on 20 November, we will be having a Business Excellence Sign-Up clinic in the morning, an NAA Members Networking Meeting in the afternoon, followed by an NAA Advisory Board Meeting. Pirelli will be our hosts for the day and I am really looking forward to seeing the changes that have been made with the RGF grant that they received. Contact Zoe if you want to attend the Members Networking Meeting or the Business Excellence Sign-Up Clinic.

Don’t forget that if you want to win an NAA award in 2014, you need to be in it to win it, so be ready to participate next year.
