Funding News: Shell launches national search for next big low carbon business idea
Small enterprises looking for a “no strings attached” financial boost to aid the development of innovative, low-carbon business ideas can now apply for an award from Shell Springboard. Now in its eighth year, Shell Springboard offers businesses the chance to win up to £40,000 to help make their commercially viable ideas a reality
Nine awards are on offer, with an expert judging panel looking to reward applications that demonstrate a product or service which:
- Will lead to greenhouse gas emissions reductions
- Is commercially viable
- Is innovative
Also taken into consideration will be the potential impact the award will have and the credibility of the applicant team.
Applicants must:
- be based in the UK
- be a SME by the European definition
- have been in business for at least three months
