The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) in collaboration with the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) is offering a fully-funded Innovation Support Programme to guide SME businesses who process metals through the process of innovation. This will provide i) guidance on your readiness to implement innovation, ii) an outline roadmap for an innovation project of your choice and iii) the opportunity to secure further funding to develop a full innovation implementation plan.
- Communities of Practice – opportunities to share ideas & experiences with like-minded companies and technology providers looking to create added value through innovation.
- Re-training & up-skilling courses – options to enrol your staff in selected courses designed to improve flexibility and the capacity to innovate.
This 3-stage programme is fully funded by the Department for Business Innovation & Skills (BIS) and is available to SME businesses involved in the metals processing sector (broad definition) in the UK. Further funding will also be available for the implementation of individual innovation plans and for attendance at the training courses.
