NAA Update: If you’ve not attended one of our meetings recently, then come along to a forthcoming event
I hope you have your diaries to hand so that you can ensure you participate in at least one of our forthcoming NAA events – these are where the networking happens…
Firstly, you have just a couple of days left to register for the May networking meeting which will be held at the Helical Technology Centre on 17 May; if you haven’t had a chance to tour the facilities in the past, get yourself booked onto the event. Even if you have been before, come and see what has happened in the intervening period; as we are having an NAA Advisory Board meeting afterwards it will also be an ideal opportunity to speak to one of the Board Members or Directors about NAA and what type of events you would like to see in the future, or services that you would like us to offer. Follow this link now to register for the visit.
We’re at Liverpool Airport on 3 July for the Wynne Aviation networking event entitled ‘Liverpool – Your Cargo Airport’’. For anyone who imports/exports product this is the must-attend event to understand this aspect of logistics and how Wynne could provide you with support. Follow this link to register.
An advance date for your diary is 9 July for a Deep Dive workshop on the elimination of manual handling being held at Pirelli, Carlisle. Take a look at the article on our successful first Deep Dive meeting held on machine data held at Getrag Ford Transmissions – it even had Martina brimming over with excitement about what she had seen! Watch out for more information on registering for this event in the coming weeks.
Another event that you can register for is our networking meeting on 19 September where we will be visiting RS Clare, the oldest lubricant manufacturer in the country (since 1748) and see how they are keeping abreast of technology in order to provide custom-made lubricants for you. We will be launching information about our 2018 Awards Dinner next month. However I can tell you now that we have secured a celebrity guest speaker for this year’s event. Based on other events where this person has presented, it should be an entertaining evening. We will announce our speaker in next month’s newsletter – I would suggest that you might want to book tickets soon before we’re sold out! They’re currently at an early bird price, but not for much longer. Link to book tickets for 2018 NAA Awards Dinner
You should also want to consider attending the SMMT Open Forum being held at Automechanika on 5 June in order to understand more about what is happening in the industry and Brexit implications, here is the link for your registration. The NAA isn’t taking a stand at Automechanika this year, but if you’re there, look out for us walking around in our white NAA polo shirts!
If you’re a supplier to either Nissan or Vauxhall then I recommend that you attend the DIT Wuhan event; read the article and please mention on registration that you heard about it from us.
Our new members this month are Senseye and Majenta PLM, we look forward to seeing you at more of our events and working with you to help you grow and be more successful.
