Supporting new product development and innovation for SMEs across Cheshire and Warrington.
Innovation to Commercialisation (known as I2C) is an ERDF funded University of Chester project providing support for new development and innovation for SMEs.
I2C helps eligible SMEs to introduce innovation to their organisations and effectively bring new products, processes and services to market.
Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, I2C helps eligible SMEs to introduce innovation to their organisations and effectively bring new products, processes and services to market.
Along with I2C’s own team of engineers and specialist equipment, the project also offers SMEs access to the University of Chester’s state-of-the-art skills, equipment and resources, based at Thornton Science Park and the NowFOOD Centre in Chester.
Located in the heart of the Cheshire Science Corridor, in easy reach of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester, Thornton Science Park is perfectly positioned for innovative and growing businesses in the North West, particularly within the energy, environmental, automotive and advanced manufacturing sectors.
