Associated with the NAA for 6-7 years, it assisted with our TS16949 approval, and also with an organisational change programme in conjunction with Getrag Ford staff. This year we have undertaken a Business Excellence programme with the NAA and Industry Forum. We won the NAA Company of the Year Award in 2007 and the NAA Business Excellence Large Enterprise of the Year Award 2012.
Personal
Married to Pat for just short of 40 years, three children, Martin, Neil and Joanne, one grandson Logan aged 2 and three quarters.
Hobbies
Electron TS and aircraft photography, I also enjoy travelling when I can find the time.

Best business advice you’ve ever received?
I’ve heard a lot of the one-liners most of which are okay at one point in time but things change. So not strictly business advice but I’d go with Frank Sinatra’s “I did it my way”.
