Additional £75m investment for Advanced Propulsion Centre
An additional £75m investment for the Advanced Propulsion Centre has been announced. The first APC competition announced its winners in April, and now there will be further funding for collaborative R&D projects in the field of low-carbon propulsion technologies. The projects will be expected to start in October and will help to develop and grow the UK’s propulsion systems supply chain. All projects must be collaborative and are expected to cost between £5m and £40m. The competition opened 8 May 2014 with deadlines for applications on 2 July 2014.
