Be ecoSMARTER: save 16% on your energy bills with a free low carbon programme

A limited number of places are available on ecoSMARTER, a new environmental programme that is free for small businesses

    It will help you:

Save money on your energy bills – businesses will have a free electricity monitor installed on site and will receive environmental support from an expert to reduce their energy consumption. Energy bills have typically been cut by 16% following support from ecoSMARTER.

Gain an environmental certification – businesses completing the programme will receive the Carbon Smart Blue Certificate, a national certification that promotes your environmental credentials and helps you win more business.

Network with like-minded local businesses – hundreds of businesses across the North West are taking part in this project. The ecoSMARTER team will put you in touch with these potential customers and suppliers, face-to-face and online, making the connections that matter to your business.

Carbon Smart certification and the supply of an energy monitor normally costs £1005 and includes a carbon footprint calculation for your company, a bespoke environmental policy and action plan, a staff engagement plan, green marketing strategy, and environmental training.

As this project is supported by the European Regional Development Fund the certification is completely free for participating businesses.

The ecoSMARTER team are looking for businesses based in the North West who have less than 30 employees and would like to take part.

For more information email business@emergemanchester.co.uk or call Peter Clothier on 0161 223 8200 and he will talk you through what’s involved.
