Forthcoming events: SMMT Innovation Premium Products Manufacturers Meet the Buyer event 27 April 2016

SMMT is seeking expressions of interest for the second low volume premium product manufacturers event. This year the event will focus on innovative products and will have a Meet the Buyer session focussed on building relationships between premium product manufacturers and premium automotive vehicle manufacturers. Please note the deadline for submissions is 11 March 2016

The event will host a seminar session, exhibition area and a number of one to one, introductory meetings between potential suppliers and representatives from OEM purchasing departments. Attendees are expected from a number of OEMs including Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls Royce motor cars, Toyota, Nissan, Aston Martin and Bentley.

The SMMT is currently asking for expressions of interest from premium product manufacturers in order to match potential suppliers to premium automotive OEMs with specific requirements. If you are interested in attending this invitation only event please follow the link below.

With involvement from Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd (SMMT), Niche Vehicle Network (NVN), Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) and the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space trade organisation (ADS), the event is part of an Automotive Council initiative aimed at creating a community of specialist UK automotive premium product suppliers.

The seminar session will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from OEMs and industry organisations on industry issues, including what support is available for suppliers of low volume premium products and services. Manufacturers are also invited to exhibit their goods and services in the exhibition area, though space is limited.

‘Innovation Stand-up’ sessions will provide potential suppliers with an opportunity to showcase their innovation, conceptual design or new product to a wider audience. These sessions will be conducted to a closed audience of OEM representatives from purchasing, research & development and design engineering.

The event is strictly by invitation only and attending companies must meet key criteria.

*The event is invitation only based on the profile and buyers wanting to meet on the day. You will receive details of the venue in your official invitation email.
