NAA Member News – Businesswise Solutions Identify Over £1.5m Worth of Annual Energy Savings

NAA Member and Energy management tech company, Businesswise Solutions, has achieved a significant landmark with its Energy Management as a Service™ (EMaaS) solution, by identifying over £1.5million worth of annual energy savings for its energy intensive clients.

To put that number into context, that’s a staggering 20,000,000 kwh. To put this into perspective that’s enough energy to power over 5,000 houses for an entire year or to boil 200 million kettles.

    Businesswise CEO, Frazer Durris said:

“This is a landmark achievement for the team, EMaaS has been in development for a long time so to be able to announce that we have blown past our initial £1million target is incredibly rewarding.

We set out an ambitious goal to use technology to fulfil our vision of eliminating energy waste and help businesses on their way to NetZero, and we haven’t stopped working towards this for a second.”

Even during lockdown the team never lost sight of its purpose to eliminate business energy waste. In fact, during the height of the pandemic, EMaaS saved one Burnley manufacturer £10,000 on energy waste by identifying machines left on standby mode.

Andrew Bardsley, Head of Energy Projects added:

“To be able to quantify the energy savings identified through our EMaaS solution is fantastic. It shows the solution adds real value to our energy intensive clients as they look to reduce energy costs and consumption.

The team is already working on making the EMaaS solution even better and achieving more savings, with our sights firmly on the next target of identifying £5million already in our sights!”

As the teams’ aspirations continue to soar, this landmark is only the start for Businesswise as it looks towards a greener and more energy efficient future for its clients.
