NAA Member News: Lean Plus recognised by awarding body Highfield

Lean Plus has achieved a significant milestone after being recognised by Highfield Qualifications. The support from the awarding body allows Lean Plus to deliver a range of qualifications within manufacturing and lean methodology and the company is set to begin rolling that out throughout the New Year…

The accreditation from Highfield allows Lean Plus to not only deliver training but to provide qualifications upon successful completion.

Lean Plus MD Darren Lynch said, “The accreditation from Highfield is a major step for Lean Plus. We have a range training to introduce this year and we’re beginning to work with some of the country’s leading manufacturers. Having the support from Highfield allows us the ability to deliver high-quality training and provide qualifications at the end of it.”

The accreditation has come at a busy time for Lean Plus as it sets in motion its plans for 2018. The training provider is holding an event in February in conjunction with the Northern Automotive Alliance (NAA) to offer a series of accredited training programmes to NAA members as the industry looks to tackle a significant skills shortage, see https://lean-plus.co.uk/lean-plus-northern-auto-alliance/

Darren said, “By working with the NAA we’ll be offering thousands of hours of training in the coming months. Everyone that completes the training will be provided with accredited and recognised certifications as a result of the Highfield awarding body. It’s going to be a busy year for Lean Plus so it was vital that we were able to offer qualifications upon completion of our courses.”

Lean Plus is an accredited training provider of pre-employment, business improvement and Lean Six Sigma training. It is based in Cheshire and works with automotive companies nationally to improve employee and process performance. It is accredited by Highfield Qualifications and offers a person-centred approach to training. It is part of Plus Point Quality, a quality assurance and control company for the automotive sector.
