NAA Update: Last chance to book your seat at the 2016 NAA Awards, and a newsletter that includes our member companies dealing with Royalty (twice), the BBC, Rage Buggies and Scrapheap Challenge, amongst other things

The NAA Annual Networking & Awards Dinner is getting very close – awards are being judged now and you have only a day or two to get your seats or table booked, names submitted and dietary requirements confirmed…

It’s also a busy time of the year for Innovate UK competitions – if you are interested in participating in the Industry 4.0 bid that we are proposing to undertake with HSSMI then return your EOI by close of business on Thursday 27 October or phone me on 07710 658601.

We had an excellent networking meeting in early October at Helical Technology; our thanks to them for their hospitality and the efforts that all their staff put into the day – and please see this month’s very interesting ‘In the Driving Seat’ feature about Helical’s Tony Cox and his team that competed in TV’s Scrapheap Challenge. I look forward to seeing you at our next networking event, two days before the Annual Dinner, at Flex in Warrington; it will be completely different to the Helical visit, but I’m certain will be just as productive and beneficial for all attendees.

I would like to welcome the following new members to NAA and look forward to sharing more about these companies with you in the coming months, and also to meeting them at our networking events: Globus, KZN Solutions, Mewburn Ellis, NOV Process & Flow, and Preston Technical.

This newsletter contains lots of good news stories about NAA member companies, ranging from meeting Royalty (for two companies) through appearing on the BBC to working with Rage Buggies; as these companies have done, please keep all your successes coming in to us for publication, we have a very diverse and national distribution list, you never know who will be reading about your company.

If you are visiting Advanced Engineering 2016 at Birmingham’s NEC, 2-3 November 2016, please come and see us on stand H33; I’m particularly interested in understanding how we can support you with your show requirements during 2017.

And finally, don’t forget that as part of your membership you are entitled to an annual 1-1 review with us, please contact Zoe to make the appointment.

    See you at the dinner.
